Rockland artist Marjorie Strauss has lived and exhibited in Maine for over 25 years. She has a degree from Massachusetts College of Art.  She has worked as a painter, pastelist and sculptor, using nature  forms that connect to the atmosphere with fluid, sensuous lines — drawing out the green life-blood and undulating rhythm in leaf veins  and trees. The color heightens the sensuous quality of the pieces.
