As an artist, Judith is impassioned by the magnificent mysteries of nature. From the details huddled within the protective cover of tulip petals to the silent beauty of a deep winter snowfall. Her artwork focuses on florals, landscapes and seascapes. Currently Judith is exploring the intricacies of nature at an intimate level.

She paints both on location and in the studio. While on site multiple sketches in varied compositions, and small paintings are created then the subject is photographed. In the studio Judith delves deeper into her subject developing numerous studies and compositions until one excites her. This in turn is developed into the final piece.

Though art is her passion, Judith has many other facets in her life. She is a veterinarian, certified in Homeopathy, and owner of the Animal Wellness Center.  Creator and director of the Companions for Life, a non profit organization to help the terminally ill keep their pets, and to help women escaping domestic violence by providing a safe haven for their companions. Currently she is the chairperson for the certification committee for the Academy of Homeopathy, and board member of Avian Haven, a wildlife rehab facility for birds. She was a board member and officer of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, a past president of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, past board member and program chair for the Kennebec Valley Art Association.
